Upper blepharoplasty is the commonest plastic surgery procedure among Asians. Many Asians have upper eyelids that are bulging and taut from the eyebrow to the eyelashes.

Sagging upper eyelids can be corrected by removal of excess skin and sometimes fat from below the eyebrows. This lifts droopy eyelids on the spot, making the eyes appear slightly bigger, rounder and exposing more of the eyelashes. It also helps to make the eyelids more amenable to makeup.
